The neutral zone - a non drug and alcohol mind

Last night I went with a friend in recovery to see Buck Cherry. Last month I went with the same friend to see Kid Rock. Despite my ability to pick out the different kinds/strengths of pot, I was not influenced or tempted. I was in the " neutral zone," a place where it didn't affect me and didn't really matter. If anything, I was glad I didn't have to indulge and endure the 'incomprehensible demoralization' and other negative consequences that the product inflicts on me. Self-annihilation has been replaced with a thirst for knowledge, peace and success, even a zest for life and life's joys. I like this way better.
Love and peace,
