in a 2010 study, Dr. Katherine Keyes reports that persons diagnosed with alcoholism were 60% less likely to seek treatment if they thought they would be stigmatized once their condition were known.
We need to educate in the grade schools. Alcoholics do not want to become alcoholics but do. This phenomenom needs to be addressed.
