Practice 'restraint of tongue'  (AA Text, 1939).  Sometimes we have to be quiet and not overreact or even react.  We have no right to harm others.  However, we are not doormats and sometimes have to get away from hostile situations or else we 'set ourselves up' to explode and destroy all of our positive efforts.
